Target group
Individuals who work in a restaurant in roles involving the serving of alcohol.
Training objective and content
The training prepares participants for the “Alcohol Matters in Restaurants” test. The training is based on Finnish Supervisory Agency’s Guidelines for Serving Alcoholic Beverages. The purpose of the test is to assess a person’s knowledge of alcohol legislation and to obtain the certificate referred to in Sections 57 and 58 of the Alcohol Act (1102/2017) and Sections 6 and 7 of the Decree of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health (158/2018)

The training and test are based on Finnish Supervisory Agency’s Guidelines for Serving Alcoholic Beverages. The training and test are conducted in Finnish. The test alone can also be taken in English.
Schedule
Alcohol Passport training: from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Alcohol Passport test: from 3:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (in Finnish or English).
